Juan Diego Rodríguez
Founder · Lead facilitator
With over a decade of experience working alongside master healers of the Peruvian Amazon, Juan Diego is the bridge between ancestral tradition and safe practice in Europe. He has travelled to the most remote communities in the world to learn directly from the guardians of knowledge — from the Ambassador of Ayahuasca in Peru to Shipibo-Conibo communities. His commitment is legal transparency, pharmacological safety and deep respect for each lineage.

Daiva brings the human and energetic dimension of the project. Her work focuses on preparation, integration and the accompaniment of each participant before and after the ceremonies — ensuring no one walks alone in their process. With an international vision and a deeply empathetic approach, she coordinates the network of specialised projects that make up the association ecosystem: esikaro.com, bufoalvarius.es, wachuma.es and afinandoelalma.info.

Is It Safe?
Clinical Safety
Ayahuasca has been extensively studied by institutions such as ICEERS and the Hospital Sant Pau in Barcelona. In a controlled setting, with prior medical assessment and experienced facilitators, the risks are significantly minimised. Our protocol includes a review of contraindications, a preparatory diet and post-ceremony follow-up.
Is It Legal?
Legal Framework in Costa Rica
In Spain, the ritual use of ayahuasca falls within a grey area. Our association is officially registered (Reg. 619016/2019) under the protection of freedom of religion and association. We operate with full legal transparency and with the knowledge of the competent authorities.
What Will I Feel?
The Experience
Every experience is unique and deeply personal. It may include visions, deep introspection, emotional release and a sense of connection with something greater. The purge (physical or emotional) is a natural part of the cleansing process. You will be accompanied at all times by experienced facilitators.
What Does Science Say?
Scientific Research
Studies published in journals such as Psychopharmacology and Scientific Reports show that ayahuasca can reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD. DMT and β-carbolines act on serotonergic receptors, promoting neuroplasticity and new neural connections.
How Do I Prepare?
Preparation Protocol
Preparation includes a specific diet (no alcohol, pork, fermented foods or substances) for at least 7 days beforehand. We provide a complete guide with dietary, emotional and practical recommendations. A clear intention is fundamental to the process.
Contraindications
Medical Safety
It is not suitable for people with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, severe cardiovascular disease, or those taking SSRIs, MAOIs or lithium. Pregnant women should abstain. We carry out a mandatory prior medical assessment to ensure your safety.

Preparation for the Ceremony
A simple, human questionnaire that helps us understand how you arrive before participating. It is not meant to evaluate or judge you — only to care for your wellbeing. Honesty with yourself helps us find the plant that will heal you physically, emotionally and psychologically. Answer with your heart to reach your fullest splendor with Power Plants. This questionnaire is not stored in any database, it is discarded the same day of the assessment.
